Football Game Preview: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. West Clermont Wolves

Walnut Hills hasn't had much luck against West Clermont recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will welcome the Wolves at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Walnut Hills is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Loveland on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles were beaten by the Tigers 42-12. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Although Walnut Hills took the loss, they still got scores from Braylon Dennis and Will Rivers.

Meanwhile, West Clermont had to suffer through a 49-14 loss at the hands of Turpin. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Spartans are ranked 119th).

West Clermont's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Walnut Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
