Volleyball Recap: Carter G. Woodson Eagle vs. Winston Salem Christian Lions
Carter G. Woodson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Winston Salem Christian Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.
The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-6, 25-11.
Winston Salem Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcela Fernandes, who had nine kills, eight aces, three digs, and one block.
