Softball Recap: Pecos Eagles vs. Fort Stockton Panthers
Pecos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 15-8 to the Fort Stockton Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 back in March.
Ciarra S was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Carriz Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Fort Stockton, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pecos will face off against Greenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
