Beatty had to settle for second on Thursday, but Aaron Olmedo sure wasn't going down easily. Olmedo wasn't messing around, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. The match was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Olmedo and Beatty will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Indian Springs at 1:00 p.m. on May 2. Sadly, Olmedo's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Hornets' five-game streak of wins at home.
