Basketball Game Preview: Spruce Mountain Phoenix vs. Mountain Valley Falcons

The Spruce Mountain Phoenix will head out on the road to take on the Mountain Valley Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Spruce Mountain is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

On Wednesday, Spruce Mountain took their match with ease, bagging a 60-25 win over Mount Abram. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Mountain Valley sidestepped Poland for a 36-33 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Spruce Mountain pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Mountain Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.
