Marion County won the last time they faced Campbellsville and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights walked away with a 61-52 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Despite the loss, Campbellsville still got an impressive performance from Keaton Hord, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 21 points. Hord's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jalen Gribbins, who posted ten points and five boards.

Marion County's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 10-7. As for Campbellsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion County will take on Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Campbellsville, they will challenge Barren County at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.53 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
