Baseball Recap: Galt's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Galt won against Argonaut last Tuesday with one run and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Warriors didn't even let the Mustangs on the board, marking the Warriors' second-straight 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 last Tuesday.

The result came thanks to Anthony Garcia's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks.

Galt's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8. As for Argonaut, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galt will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Union Mine at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Argonaut, they will venture away from home to square off against Ripon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
