Baseball Recap: Orange Glen Comes Up Short

Orange Glen lost against Escondido Charter back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patriots lost 16-1 to the Tigers. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Orange Glen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicki Cardenas, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Orange Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Escondido Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Orange Glen will challenge rival Coastal Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Escondido Charter is set to square off against their familiar foe Foothills Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
