Baseball Recap: Seminole Ridge Hawks vs. Deerfield Beach Bucks
Seminole Ridge fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Deerfield Beach on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Deerfield Beach Bucks. Seminole Ridge was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Deerfield Beach apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
Michael Nethercote made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Luke Vento, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
