Basketball Recap: North Henderson Takes a Loss

North Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Pisgah Bears, falling 56-16. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-4.

Reese Smith was North Henderson's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Chloe Ebert held things down on the boards with five rebounds. Leah Jones took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Chandler Lowery was her usual excellent self, going 5 of 9 on her way to 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Pisgah. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Bryson, who went 5 for 10 en route to 10 points and six boards.

North Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Pisgah, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

North Henderson has already played their next contest, a 65-27 defeat against West Henderson on the 22nd. As for Pisgah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-51 win against Mountain Heritage on the 18th.
