Volleyball Recap: Mccallum Extends Winning Streak to Three

McCallum had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Crockett Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

McCallum was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11, 25-19.

Piper Adair paced McCallum's offense, picking up 14 kills. Adair got some help from Lexi Rosenblatt and her 19 assists. Elizabeth Peables controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

McCallum's win bumped their record up to 25-10. As for Crockett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-20.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McCallum is set to take on their familiar foe Anderson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crockett will face off against rival Richards School for Young Women Leaders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
