Baseball Recap: Ludlow Panthers vs. Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts
Ludlow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 15-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Parker Trenkamp was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. Trenkamp was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Chris Perkins was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
