Basketball Game Preview: Kennett Eagles vs. Bow Falcons

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Kennett Eagles challenge the Bow Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday... Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Kennett had to suffer through a 65-31 loss at the hands of Manchester West. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Bow scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Pembroke by a score of 78-75. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Kennett's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for Bow, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Kennett ended up a good deal behind Bow when the teams last played back in February of 2024, losing 57-43. Can Kennett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
