Volleyball Recap: Streamwood Find Success

Streamwood saw some tournament action on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Taft Eagles 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sabres.

Heewon Yang went supernova, getting 18 digs and six assists. That's the most digs he has posted since back in March. Jesse Sanchez also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Streamwood's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Taft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Streamwood will be playing in front of their home fans against West Aurora at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taft, they will square off against Amundsen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
