Basketball Recap: George Washington Takes a Loss

George Washington suffered their closest loss since January 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Magna Vista Warriors by a score of 42-39. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 62-39 loss last Friday.

George Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Magna Vista, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

George Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Magna Vista, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bassett at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th.
