Soccer Game Preview: Bay vs. St. Stanislaus

Bay is 1-8-1 against St. Stanislaus since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bay Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bay is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Mississippi's top teams: St. Patrick, who was ranked 16th at the time (Bay was ranked tenth). Bay came up short against St. Patrick on Friday, falling 5-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, St. Stanislaus' undefeated season came to an end after 11 games on Thursday. They fell just short of Gulfport by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Rock-a-Chaws' undefeated start to the season.

Bay's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2. As for St. Stanislaus, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.
