Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for West Campus

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Campus). They put the hurt on the Fairfield Falcons with a sharp 6-1 victory on Tuesday. With the Warriors ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

They hit Fairfield with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Diego Ugarte (2), Zoltan Grebac (2), Richard Guido, and Nathan Leon - Munoz.

The win (which was West Campus' third in a row) raised their record to 3-1-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three matches. As for Fairfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1.

West Campus wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Valley on the 9th. As for Fairfield, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Burbank on the 9th.
