Preview: Buckley Griffins vs. de Toledo Jaguars
The Buckley Griffins will head out on the road to square off against the de Toledo Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Buckley didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Holy Martyrs Armenian, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Buckley.
Meanwhile, even though The Palmdale Aerospace Academy scored an imposing 61 points on Tuesday, de Toledo still came out on top. De Toledo managed a 66-61 win over The Palmdale Aerospace Academy.
Buckley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for de Toledo, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.
Everything came up roses for Buckley against de Toledo in their previous matchup on January 9th as the team secured a 76-48 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buckley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
