Volleyball Recap: Trinidad Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Trinidad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Sargent Farmers. If the Miners were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Farmers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-11.

Trinidad's offense was headlined by Maya Morales and Mikayla Hinchley, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Elia Bowman and her four assists. Finally, Hinchley was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Sargent, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

Looking ahead, Trinidad will challenge Crested Butte at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sargent, they will take on Peyton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
