Baseball Game Preview: Englewood Rams vs. Bulloch Academy Gators

The Englewood Rams will face off against the Bulloch Academy Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Englewood 3, Bulloch Academy 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Englewood is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Orange Park on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Englewood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ender Aldana, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Bulloch Academy didn't have quite enough to beat First Presbyterian Day on Thursday and fell 4-2. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bulloch Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Englewood, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-10.
