Volleyball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Takes a Loss

Sports Leadership & Management came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Delphi Academy Dragons, falling 3-0. Spartans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Dragons since Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-7, 25-9.

Nayeli Flores paced Sports Leadership & Management's offense, picking up nine kills. Flores got some help from Jeslie Garcia and her 13 assists. Jariely Cardona controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sports Leadership & Management's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Delphi Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Sports Leadership & Management nor Delphi Academy have any future games scheduled.
