Softball Recap: Litchfield Purple Panthers vs. Nokomis Redskins
Litchfield can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Nokomis Redskins by a score of 6-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Purple Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Laynie Wyatt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits.
