Softball Recap: Kewaunee Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kewaunee can now relate to. They fell just short of the New Holstein Huskies by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Kewaunee has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for New Holstein, they moved to 16-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Kewaunee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Holstein, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Valders on the 29th.
