Volleyball Game Preview: Pomona Panthers vs. D'Evelyn Jaguars + How To Watch

Pomona is 2-7 against D'Evelyn since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the Jaguars at 6:30 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pomona took on Littleton on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-20 in the first set.

Pomona started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, D'Evelyn had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Farmers with a sharp 3-0 win.

D'Evelyn walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-18.

D'Evelyn's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Pomona, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

Pomona suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to D'Evelyn in their previous matchup on Thursday. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
