Lake Forest Academy posted their closest win since October 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the North Shore Country Day Raiders 2-1. The Caxys haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lake Forest Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-21.

Lake Forest Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for North Shore Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lake Forest Academy will challenge rival Regina Dominican at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Shore Country Day is set to take on their familiar foe Francis W. Parker at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
