Baseball Recap: Brandon/Evansville Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Brandon/Evansville entered their tilt with Hancock on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Owls 14-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-10 on Friday.

Brandon/Evansville pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Hancock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Brandon/Evansville will head out on the road to face off against Ashby at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Arrows have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something the Chargers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hancock, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ortonville at 4:30 p.m. on the 19th.
