Baseball Recap: Crestwood Takes a Loss

Crestwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wilson Tigers, falling 17-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 last Tuesday.

Crestwood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Darian Miller, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Wilson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Crestwood will challenge rival South Florence at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wilson is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
