Christian Heritage scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Athens Christian Preparatory Academy 65-38 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Christian Heritage has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up ten more assists than your opponent, a fact East Texas Homeschool Sports proved on Thursday. They strolled past King's Academy with points to spare, taking the game 61-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for East Texas Homeschool Sports.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Texas Homeschool Sports to victory, but perhaps none more so than Will Mason, who scored 22 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Mason is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Issac Hill, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Christian Heritage's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
