Volleyball Recap: Racine Case Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Mia Kwapil and Elise Webster

Racine Case was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Grayslake Central Rams. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in September of 2021.

Elise Webster and Mia Kwapil certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Webster had nine digs and one assist, while Kwapil had four digs.

Racine Case's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Grayslake Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Racine Case didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Living Word Lutheran on the 27th. As for Grayslake Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Sun Prairie West on the 27th.
