Soccer Recap: Fabens Takes a Loss

Fabens might've scored the first goal on Tuesday, but it was Clint who claimed the real prize. The Fabens Wildcats fell 4-2 to the Clint Lions. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Evelyn Hernandez wasn't going to let Clint walk away unscathed as she scored both of Fabens' goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Fabens' record is now 1-16. As for Clint, they moved to 8-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Fabens will face off against Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fabens is facing Mountain View at the right time seeing as Mountain View is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Clint, they will host Ysleta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Clint: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Ysleta has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
