Volleyball Recap: Perry Meridian Comes Up Short

Perry Meridian's tournament run continued when they took on Southwood on Saturday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Knights. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Auria Knight paced Perry Meridian's offense, picking up four kills. Knight got some help from Martina Mays and her four assists. Finally, Knight was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Perry Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Southwood, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Perry Meridian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Decatur Central on the 19th. As for Southwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Cathedral on the 16th.
