Lee Park Prep waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged the Grace Academy Lions out 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 1, 2024.

Grace Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tim Burris, who posted 19 points and seven assists. The game was Burris' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Payne, who had 15 points along with five assists and three steals.

Lee Park Prep is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Grace Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.

Lee Park Prep will square off against NorthPoint Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. NorthPoint Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Grace Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Socrates Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Grace Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.4 points per game this season.
