Football Recap: Thomson Takes a Loss

Thomson's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 33-7 to the North Augusta Yellow Jackets. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Yellow Jackets 7-0 in the first quarter.

Markevion Jones threw for 112 yards and one TD. Jaris Sinkfield was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Dallas HIll rushed for 30 yards.

Thomson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Thomson will host Academy of Richmond County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Augusta, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
