Softball Game Preview: Franklin Quakers vs. Central Panthers

The Franklin Quakers are taking a road trip to face off against the Central Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They came up short against Dallas on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Quakers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). Everything went their way against Reynolds last Tuesday as Central made off with a 13-1 win.

Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Franklin, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Franklin couldn't quite finish off Central in their previous meeting back in March of 2015 and fell 3-1. Can Franklin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
