Soccer Game Preview: Dayton vs. Delphian

The Dayton Pirates will challenge the Delphian Dragons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Delphian will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Dayton extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Pirates' defense stepped up to hand Taft an 8-0 shutout. Dayton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Delphian got the win against Yamhill-Carlton on Thursday by a conclusive 7-1. Delphian have beaten Yamhill-Carlton the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Yamhill-Carlton has come to flipping the script.

Dayton's victory bumped their record up to 10-0-1. As for Delphian, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.
