Football Game Preview: Broomfield Eagles vs. Riverdale Ridge Ravens + How To Watch

The Broomfield Eagles will head out to square off against the Riverdale Ridge Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Broomfield comes in on three and Riverdale Ridge on eight.

Broomfield is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Grand Junction Central: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Warriors out of the water with a 56-20 final score. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Warriors are ranked 118th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Broomfield found their leader in freshman Kashus Clarvoe, who rushed for 265 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Clarvoe's longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Reidle, who picked up 89 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverdale Ridge). They breezed past Adams City to the tune of 68-0 on Thursday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Ravens had established a 55-point advantage.

Riverdale Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Broomfield, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Broomfield beat Riverdale Ridge 22-13 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
