Baseball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood was the 11-1 winner over Lynden Christian when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Lyncs on Saturday, falling 17-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakewood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Taylor, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Lakewood's record now sits at 6-14. As for Lynden Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-6.

As of now, neither Lakewood nor the Lyncs have any future games scheduled.
