Basketball Recap: Collierville Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Collierville Dragons were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 70-66 to the Obion County Rebels.

Collierville's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Obion County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collierville will challenge Germantown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Collierville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Germantown likes a good challenge. As for Obion County, they will take on Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westview will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Obion County surely won't give up without a fight.
