Rising Sun has gone 8-2 against Jac-Cen-Del recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Shiners will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Rising Sun is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Rising Sun didn't have quite enough to beat Milan and fell 4-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Shiners in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.

Weston Cumberworth made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Powell, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Jac-Cen-Del fell victim to Hauser and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Jets. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Rising Sun's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Jac-Cen-Del, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Rising Sun has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Jac-Cen-Del struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Rising Sun beat Jac-Cen-Del 7-4 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Do the Shiners have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
