After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cerritos, Whitney was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pioneer Titans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Whitney never let Pioneer on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-23.

Whitney's victory bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Pioneer, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whitney is set to challenge their familiar foe Glenn at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pioneer will face off against rival Oxford Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
