Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fife). They blew past the Washington Patriots 17-1 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Micah Wolfrom was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Miles Ducharme was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Fife is undefeated when Ducharme posts two or more runs, but 5-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Mattson Ducharme, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Fife always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Washington only posted an OBP of .263.

Fife pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Fife will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
