Baseball Recap: New Buffalo Comes Up Short

New Buffalo has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.88 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-7 to the Michigan Lutheran Titans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

New Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Michigan Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Buffalo will head out to square off against Brandywine at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Michigan Lutheran, they will venture away from home to take on Lawton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
