Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christian Heritage). They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Greenville Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Sentinels in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Ryder Swain made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Christian Heritage is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Swain was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Slade Scott was a standout: he scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rhett Gladden, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Christian Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .759. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Christian Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Christian Heritage will square off against Poetry Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenville Christian, they will face off against the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
