Volleyball Game Preview: Forest Grove Vikings vs. Newberg Tigers + How To Watch

The Forest Grove Vikings will take on the Newberg Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Forest Grove is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering South Albany just ended the team's nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Redhawks.

Meanwhile, Newberg didn't have quite enough to beat Franklin on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Forest Grove's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Newberg, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything went Forest Grove's way against Newberg when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Forest Grove made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
