Volleyball Game Preview: Cheyenne Wells Tigers vs. Holly Wildcats

The Cheyenne Wells Tigers will take on the Holly Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holly took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cheyenne Wells, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Cheyenne Wells turned things around against Hanover on Friday. They blew past the Hornets 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-14.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Holly challenged McClave on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-10, 25-6.

Holly's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Cheyenne Wells, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Cheyenne Wells skirted past Holly 3-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
