Basketball Game Preview: Crowley Eagles vs. Guyer Wildcats

The Crowley Eagles will face off against the Guyer Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crowley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Guyer likes a good challenge.

Crowley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 69-56 victory over Eastwood.

Meanwhile, Guyer came tearing into Friday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rangers 51-48. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Rangers are ranked 47th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crowley has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season. Guyer's victory bumped their record up to 30-7.
