Preview: Granite Bay vs. Edison
On Thursday, Granite Bay is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Edison at 5:00 PM. Granite Bay will be strutting in after a win while Edison will be stumbling in from a loss.
Granite Bay had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Cosumnes Oaks 35-0.
Meanwhile,, Edison couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 13-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of Acalanes.
Edison's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Granite Bay's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Edison would reverse both their bad luck and Granite Bay's good luck. We'll see if Edison manages to pull off that tough task or if Granite Bay keeps their momentum going instead.
