Softball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Ferris was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against the Godley Wildcats, falling 12-1.

Ferris saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landri Davis, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 9-9-2. As for Godley, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Ferris will be playing at home against Alvarado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Godley, they will venture away from home to challenge Hillsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillsboro has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something Godley will no doubt try to take advantage of.
