It was a good run, but Upland unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Chaminade Eagles by a score of 2-1.

When it comes to explaining why Upland lost, don't look at Nathaniel Stevens. Despite the final result, he had 36 digs and one assist. Stevens is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 27 every time he's taken the court this season.

Upland's loss dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Chaminade, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Upland has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Westlake on the 19th. As for Chaminade, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Saugus at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
