Basketball Game Preview: Hot Springs Trojans vs. Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears

The Hot Springs Trojans and the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Hot Springs is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Conway just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt a 76-49 defeat at the hands of the Wampus Cats. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Holy Innocents Episcopal entered their tilt with Har-Ber on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They secured a 54-50 W over the Wildcats. Given the Golden Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked eighth in Georgia, while the Wildcats are ranked 48th in Arkansas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holy Innocents Episcopal's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Hot Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
